It's always a joy to go to HOFA. :) The owner and staff are lovely, knowledgeable, and sincere. They're very generous on pricing, and have an exceptional variety of supplies for a wide range of mediums. Pre-covid I went to several watercolour classes. They were very affordable and I thoroughly enjoyed them. HOFA is truly an artist's haven, and you won't be disappointed :)

Staff have a good understanding of art tools and supplies and are very helpful and understanding. Depending on the item... prices are actually quite reasonable and I would definitely shop here first before any other big box store. Highly recommend.

I finally don't have to leave Abbotsford to get my art supplies and if they don't have what you are looking for, they will try and get it in for you. Great place to art shop from a beginner to the experienced.

Last Fall, I finally came into possession of some 100 year old watercolors, prints and artwork from my Grandfather. I wanted to honor him by reframing these prints with archival framing so that they would last at least another 100 years!!! I went to several art shops and framers and came across House of Fine Arts here in Abbotsford, BC. The gentlemen there helped me for a long time choosing just the right mats and frames to make the artwork spectacular. I used to do framing myself but these men did the most incredible, exquisite, complementary, professional, and perfect job you could ever ask for. They understood how precious these items were to me! They went above and beyond and even put the screw hooks, backing, wire and wall protectors on the artwork. The cost was average compared to their competition but they gave the service and quality work fitting museum pieces. Five stars is not enough!!!! Thanks guys!!!

The lady working on December 14th when I got there at 1:30pm, was absolutely top notch, knew what she was talking about, overall made it super easy to find the perfect gift for an artist in a department I know nothing about.Wished I had grabbed her name however all I do know is this woman is such an asset to this business.

Just had a large photo framed by HOFA for my client. HOFA was pleasant to work with from the staff to the process to the pricing. I highly recommend their custom framing services and appreciate them accommodating my tight timeline. I didn't catch the lady's name who worked in the store but she is so lovely! I will definitely be back! Thank you HOFA, clients love it - I'm so pleased!

I've only been here once, but by the looks of things they carry just about anything you would need in arts supplies for painting & such. They also do picture frames & cut matting I had quite the project for them with a circular frame & they were able to do exactly as I requested & cheaper than what I was quoted for. Thank you!
